According to the state on 1.03.06
Joint stock commercial bank NOVIY
was registered by the National Bank of Ukraine as a legal entity on 18 December
1992.
The bank is registered in the form a
close joint stock company.
The bank is a part of the unified
bank system of Ukraine
and has a right to carry out activity throughout Ukraine bank license №112 from
14.12.2001 of all kinds of banking activities except dealership with bank gold.
Bank NOVIY authorized capital stock constitutes the amount
of UAH 55.000.000.000. Regulative stock UAH 63 mln. including subordinated debt
UAH 4 mln(1USD=5.05UAH)
The largest shareholders of the bank
are the state design office "YUZHNOYE" and joint stock insurance
company "PRYDNIPROV’YA".
The bank has three branches,
allocated on separate balance without the right of creation of legal entity,
situated in Kiev, Kirovograd
and in Sinelnikovo, Dnipropetrovsk region, and offices in Dnepropetrovsk,
Marganec and Dneprodzerzhinsk.
All branches and offices are included into the uniform information system that
gives an opportunity of day-to-day management of branch network.
The staff of the bank makes 316
persons. 213 of them work in the head office and branches allocated on the
balance of the head office. The age of the bank employees is 37,4 years on average.
At the end of 2001 the bank
submitted an application on joining the international payment systems VISA and EUROPEY
and in February 2002 became an associated member of these payment systems.
The bank is the participant of
underwriting of natural persons deposits fund, certificate №117 from
30.03.2005.
CORPORATE BUSINESS
75 % of all active operations of the
bank make credit operations of corporate clients. From the beginning of the
year the credit portfolio of corporate clients has increased on 8 mln UAH in UAH
equivalent basically due to the increase of the volume of micro-crediting and
credits in US dollars. On 1 march the credit portfolio of corporate clients
without taking into account extra-balance accounts and discounted bills
constitutes the amount of UAH 189 mln.
The main bank assets are based in Dnepropetrovsk region.
There are agrarian, grain selling, building and metal selling companies among
clients of the bank.
The bank grants loans in the form of
credits, credit lines and overdrafts. Guarantees and bails are given to our
clients. The documentary operations take place. Collection of money and storage
of values is organized in Dnepropetrovsk
region.
In the structure of deposit
portfolio of legal entities long-term deposits with the term of repayment over
one year make UAH 22 mln or 6%, and short-term deposits UAH 37,8 mln or 94%
correspondingly. Deposits in national currency amount UAH 8,7 mln or 28%, while
deposits in foreign currency (us dollars) in UAH equivalent amount UAH 31,3 mln or 72%. The average rate for
corporate clients deposits in national currency is 12% and in foreign currencies
6% a year.
In March 2006 the average day rests
on the settlement accounts of corporate clients made UAH 141 mln from which in
national currency 23 mln or 23% and in foreign currencies (USD, EUR, RUB) 115
mln UAH in UAH equivalent or 77%.
Incomes of legal entities operations
make 75% of all bank incomes. Incomes from credit operations, settlement cash
service and currency transactions are distinguished in the structure of income.
PRIVATE BUSINESS
Private persons’ deposits are the
basic source of investment activity. From the beginning of the year the private
persons deposit portfolio has increased by 1 mln UAH from 64,5 mln UAH to 65.5
mln UAH. In the structure of deposits short-term deposits with up to one year
term of repayment make 26,3 mln UAH or 40%,while long-term make 39,2 mln UAH or
60%. In national currency 54,7 mln UAH or 84% and in foreign currencies (USD,EUR,RUB)
10,8 mln UAH in UAH equivalent or 16%. The average rate for natural persons
deposits in national currency is 16,1% and in foreign currency 10%.
59,3 mln UAH or 90% of deposits are
involved by the head bank and branches allocated on the head bank balance.
On 1 March 2006 the credit portfolio
of private persons made 24 mln UAH. The bank grants credits for the purchase of
the consumer goods, automobiles, tourist tours, gives mortgage credits. Long-term
credits are granted under the condition of monthly repayment of the body of the
credit. Places of sales are open in large shopping centers. Special credit
programs favourable to client by additional discounts are developed and
introduced with some trading networks and organizations in Dnepropetrovsk.
There are 12 cash dispencers established in
Dnepropetrovsk, in Kiev, in Kirovograd. The average
day rests on the plastic cards’ accounts constitute the amount of 3 mln UAH.
The credits granted by plastic card aggregates
amount 576 thousand UAH. The bank serves various credit cards such as EUROCARD/MASTERCARD
and VISA - GOLD, CLASSIC, STANDARD, ELECTRON, BUSINESS AND MAESTRO.
INVESTMENT BUSINESS
JSC Bank “NOVIY” is licensed by the
state committee of securities and the stock market for carrying out
professional activity in equity market as well as in release and manipulation
of securities.
The main incomes of the department of securities are got from transactions of collateral acceptance of tax bills
and stock-taking of bills.
FOREIGN TRANSACTIONS AND SETTLEMENTS
Today the bank gives all the
spectrum of services on international settlements and it carries out payments
in all freely convertible currencies and in currencies of the CIS countries.
With the purpose of increase of reliability and the speed of the settlements
perfomance the bank optimized its correspondent network and now look for
correspondent bank in New York so that have permanent correspondent relations.
In 2005 the bank became the participant of the system of electronic payments SWIFT.

-active work at the INTERBANK currency market;
-international transactions, letter of credit, guarantees, collection of payments;

-full monitoring of international
transactions fulfilled according to the international organization FATF instruction
,national bank requirements and the bank policy aimed at the prevention of
funds received in the criminal way legalization.

contracts with foreign partners and the currency of that contracts is USD.
Among such clients there are transport companies,
witch carry out freight carriage by railway transport in Europe
and commonwealth of independent states; agricultural firms effecting delivery
of agricultural production (sunflower, seeds, grain) by sea transport.

of considerable client of our bank-the State Design Office “YUZHNOE”. It is one
of the leading spase rocketry company, the commonly recognized center of space
rocketry science and technology. The main design areas are the rocket space
complexes, spasecraft and their sistems,civil products. More than 400 satellites designed by “YUZHNOE” were
launched into space. ”YUZHNOE” has international contracts with 21 countries
through out the world. This company is participating in the “sea launch” program
the leading partner in which is well known “ BOEING” company.
